Description

Shot in Spring 2007. A ray of sunshine penetrates the deep woods to reveal a patch of wild iris. The woods are stirring to life around me, very soon I will see the first iris of this Spring. I have been ill the last few days with a terrible case of Salmonella poisoning, which mostly kept me in bed. I have tried to keep up with your posts as best I could. I am feeling much better now, though I sill get nervous if I’m not near a restroom! But I do have a project I’m doing this evening; hopefully I will have some new photos for you tomorrow. Hi Charles Oh man, I'm so glad you're feeling better! Mike had Salmonella and was so, so sick. Hope it clears up totally very soon. This is such a pretty picture. I just love the color of the iris blooms!

So magical, Charles! how lovely to have these irises wild! This photo is a delight. Sorry to hear about your upset, nothing nastier! Don't you just love these euphemisms we have... restroom, bog, loo, bathroom, toilet, WC...Two nations divided by a common language.
