Description

This is my son .... he never ceases to amaze me with his thoughts heh I had to put my son in daycare for the first time when he was 4, because I was having heart problems and pregnant. The doctor put me on bed rest. Our church offered to let him go to day care there for a few months, to give me a break. However, I had been a stay home mom with him, and it was hard for him to adjust to being away from me. His first few days there, the teacher would tell me what he did. Which wasn't much. He cried a lot, and he told her every 15 minutes "I Miss my MOM." She tried to assure him it was alright and he would stop missing me so much if he went and played a little bit. Finally she couldn't take it anymore and sat down with him and tried to explain, "You know Christian, I miss my mom too, I haven't seen her in years. " He thought for a while, and he looked at her intently, then asked simply..."Why? Are you blind?"
