My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Then you must be a tundra woman, and so am I! I like your story much better!! We have tundra swans here too, but I haven't seen them this year. I keep looking, but they're probably gone by now!!

Excellent shot Tara! Someone placed a close-up on a tundra swan yesterday - the black beak and feet! Gorgeous!

Tundra it is! I worked with a woman years ago who retired to Fidalgo Island with her new husband. It seemed so romantic. I can begin to see why in this image.

A beautiful scene...one I haven't seen yet...but one that being an annual event will be around for a long time to come. Glad you captured the mist. It makes a perfect backdrop for the swans:)

I agree about the cows, but only if the migrate! And if they do, best stay away from their flight patterns, or carry a BIG umbrella!
