Description

This was taken yesterday, the first day of spring, at the Memphis Botanical Gardens. The impressive daffodil fields there are currently in all their glory. While of course the obligatory wide shots of all the flowers must be taken, you need to move in a bit closer to appreciate the truly unique design of this flower as it makes it's brief annual appearance heralding in the beginning of yet another growing season. But wouldn't you know it - tonight we have a 60% chance of snow! Where's global warming when you could really use it?!? Happy Spring! marshall

Yeahhhhh... another daffodil... I an so glad Winter has gone and spring is here.. I also found evidence of that fact.. A beatiful series of daffies here.
