I knew it was snowing after 12 am but only thought it would be a dusting. this tree is the same pear with blossoms(http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/media/folder_204/thumb_2032140.jpg) I posted the other day.some places got 7-9 inches while others only maybe an inch.

Sunday early in the morning I had a real bad snow storm in western TX, all the way from Michigan Flat to Pecos. When I stopped in Odessa for fuel, I thought I gonna freeze to death while pumping gas, the wind was blowing like crazy and it was very, very cold, something that you usually see only up north... Hope that snow didn't damage your pear tree!

Strangest weather I can remember in a long time. Luckily we didn't get any snow but it's been colder here this winter like never before. I hate it, I've got to go move to Hawaii! After all that whining, I think the snow looks absolutely beautiful on your pear tree. A stunning photo. Well done.
