This is the new Willow character for A4 which was gifted to me by her creator Val (Godin). Although I was initially reticent about working with such a young pixie model I actually had such fun playing with Willow. When I started I had a completely different image in mind but the playful Willow got the better of me. Next time however she will be playing more of my dark game. Fair is fair.
Thank you Val, Willow is adorable... and far more versatile than I expected for such a strong fae girl. She gives such great expressions.
Anyways I hope you enjoy this lighter Egyptian style riff.
There are three elements of Surprise in or about this image. Two are pretty evident but the third is very tricky and will only be known if you have followed my works for a while. Can you guess them?

This may be very different for you Roxy, but I like it. It is a nice change of pace. This character is definitely a cutie. The pose is superb and the colors astounding! As per your norm, the detail is wonderful. I think you should venture into this realm of art more often. VERY refreshing variety. Excellent image.

Really sweet Roxy. Just love the look on her face and the detail that you have in the picture... like the foot in the water, you can just see the reflection under the water. I don't know how you manage to keep a track of all the different things that you use in you pics... you much have stacks. LOL Well done..

Gorgeously rich image - another one for the calender! I think that the snake is going to give the rat a suprise, the smokey dragon is going to give the snake a suprise and the smokey dragon will be very suprised when Willow pops the bowl by her hand over his vase and traps him inside!

Aw, I failed! I cannot find the third surprise in the picture - rats! No, wait, there are rats there! I know that I was surprised by two things: I cannot remember seeing a snake in your images before, and I was surprised to see the one rat deserting the other to its fate at the fangs of the snake. Desertion and cowardice are not your usual subjects. I also noticed that the snake was in the shape of an "S", and that the dragon in this image was in the form of smoke. But then, your images are always so full of details and symbols, it boggles the mind. I love this image. The character, the pose, and the expression are just priceless! I passed this character by when I saw her in the marketplace, thinking she was too "fluffy", but now I can see what I missed. As usual, you have a way of really bringing a character to life.
