Description

Sunday afternoon I actually had some time to visit and comment...But Murphy's Law seems to be running rampant in my life right now...I was going to reboot my pc but when it shut down it shut down! Would not turn back on, I tried everything but it just would not start up...Monday I spent my off time calling computer repair shops in my area and was getting frustrated at the cost of a service call, from $129.99 to $297 for 1-4 hours. Finally the last number I called, Murphy stepped in again and I had to hang up as I had to answer the door...Well that guy was on a cell phone so when I hung up my number showed and he called me back! Ha Ha Murphy! The man only charged $60 for the service call, told me that he thought it was my power supply (the others said my mother board!) Within an hour he was here, it was the power supply (WHEW!) and he was here for less than an hour... a total of $150 versus those other people that would have been upwards of $400...Many thanks to my Alex who paid for my repair and got me back online! So apologies to those that I was supposed to email on Sunday and I will get back to you asap! Off to the doctor this morning for my foot, keeping my fingers crossed that its better! If you are in the Syracuse, New York area I totally recommend this place for fast in home service/repairs: AAA Computer Repair Thanks for the visit, for previous comments and favs...and for infinite patience!

If you can do it yourself, and can spare a few days, E-Bay has very reasonably priced power supplies. I've done two and shelled out less than sixty bucks for the pair.

I'm glad you got up and running again. I have just had a repair man out to set up a wireless connection for hubby but haven't got the bill yet. I hope it isn't too much. I also hope your foot gets a thumbs up.

I'd expect you were doing it yourself in less time and obviously much cheaper. I've thought robbery isn't a mankind treat.

Your weary brain is actually the most unbelievable superpower you do have. Just don't claim you haven't been warned. And yes, I do mean it.😊💖🥰
