Joshua stormed into Peenk's cabin where she stood talking to Kinna and her mother. "What the hell did you and baby do to him?" He asked the blonde. The tall woman looked at him, fire now in her eyes. "Watch how you talk to me boy. It was baby's idea, and Zell agreed... after a little coaxing." "Peenk, why do you think Zell dyes his hair brown? Hmm?" Kirk asked. "How have you been treated by people all your life because you're blonde? Pretty badly, right? They thought you were just another dumb blonde, right? Well for him it was worse because he's so small. He said no one ever took him serious because of it." Peenk now looked like she wanted to swear at herself. "I never thought of that. It was baby's idea. You see, Melee told her that the kid was not really a brunette. And evidently the girl has a thing for blondes." Joshua nodded. "It really does not matter now. He works for Merrik, and he's proven himself to him." Peenk agreed, then put her finger in Joshua's face. "Now it's my turn, boy." She said before looking down at the man's feet. "You know I only allow Metla, Seesha, and Kinna to run around barefoot on my ship. So where are your boots?" Joshua Kirk gave her a confused look before glancing down at his feet. His face suddenly turned red. "You didn't know you were barefoot, did you boy?" She asked with a smile. "Why do you keep calling me boy?" He said in an exasperated tone. "You're thirty two! Not much older than I am." Magenta and Kinna suddenly burst into laughter. Peenk glared angrily at both. Joshua smiled and stroked his chin. "Or are you?." "Joshua." Magenta whispered. "I have five children by my first husband Boz Corrin. Ulrich is the oldest, at forty one. Next comes Emerald at forty. Then comes Lily. She's thirty nine." She then grinned at her daughter. "And eighteen minutes later Corell Peenk Annah Montal entered the universe. And Ebony will turn thirty in just over a month." Mama's daughter's face reddened at the ribbing she was getting from her mother. Taking her hand, Joshua quietly whispered into her ear for a couple minutes. When he was done, Peenk smiled and kissed the man. "Let's get dressed everybody. There's a party waiting outside." With that she left for her dressing room, while Kirk went to his cabin. "What did he tell her?" Magenta asked Kinna, who stood wide eyed. "Only the sexiest thing I've ever heard one being tell another." The Cerinian said dreamily. "Well, what did he say?" The blue Cerinian turned to her. "I'm not saying. That's between the two of them. I just wish I hadn't heard it. But know this woman. That is a powerful love there." The human nodded, tears forming in her eyes. Kinna gently stroked her cheek. "Magenta, you will find someone soon. The Force tells me this." The woman nodded slightly and walked from the cabin.
