The more things change, the more they stay the same. Even on far distant worlds, technology doesn't behave. I visualize these two as having a problem with communications. Perhaps there's a little bit of dust inside that is creating a problem with the telecommunicaitons, device, and there the poor guy sits, staring at the non-functionind machine, wondering now what's he supposed to do, LOL. Marvelous image, very realistic, and sure makes my mind need to tell a story!
