Description

The weather is getting better all the time! Roses are still a ways off, but I'm starting to look forward to them already. Of course the leaves in the top right-hand corner are from a different plant. This was taken at the nursery, and they pack 'em in there pretty tight!

My first roses are blooming, in fact they've had blooms for nearly a month. I have no idea what kind it is, but I love that it gives my those flowers so early. Nothing nearly as beautiful as this one, the color is just gorgeous!!

Great shot! love the colours! if you listen closely you can hear them talking to each other, mostly saying things like, 'hey! get your leaf out my bud!' 'Watch where you put those Stamen, buddy!'

I like the translucent nature of the petals and the contrast evident as the sun shines brightly on the rose forcing those big shadows...mighty nice...hmmmm.

I can almost smell this beautiful rose clear down here in Oregon. What a lovely shot and it just whets my appetite for the roses to be in full bloom down here.
