Description
The Frari’s Basilica. The Lomberdesque style sepulchral monument in Istrian stone dedicate to the Procurator of St. Mark, Alvise Pasqualigo (+1523). This monument was erected by Giammaria Mosca (1495-1574). Up above, in the two corners of the frame which contains the monument, there are the paintings THE ANGEL and THE VIRGIN MARY of an unknown artist, probably Giovanni Antonio de’ Sacchis known as Pordenone (1485-1539).
