Namibia 2010
I giggled now when I chose "architecture" as the genre for this image! I do not believe any engineer will call it such!! Hehehe...
Anyway - this is the 'fence' of one of the houses in Henties Bay made entirely of driftwood. I'm not sure how effective it is but it sure is creative!!!

I love this! It's pretty well constructed especially given the assorted shapes the driftwood takes...I would imagine it might deter some larger creatures. And great find and capture, Carin!

I just love this--it's something I would do--in fact, gives me all kinds of ideas. Now I might have to start lugging big chunks of driftwood back on those beach walks of mine!!

I love the fence, and at first I couldn't figure out why you thought it would be ineffective. Then I remembered the reasons for fences in your neck of the woods and it all fell into place. Around here they're either to keep the dogs in, or as decoration. This absolutely falls into the second category ... it's charming! Ek mis jou ook vrek baie, Dierbaar! :X
