Well, since Demonicusrex asked if I would be modeling any weapons that made it to recent films, I thought I'd post this. This features the new Shuriken as seen in AVP and AVPR, though I need to make some of it sharp. For some reason I neglected to do that, so I have to redo some parts of it. Grrr. All well. I do like the way it came out though, and I know I gave it a different colour palette to suite the theme of my predator's suit. Also, a new baldric with the laser mine thingies from avpr has been added. No side pouch with blue goo though. Though I had contemplated adding a frog to the baldric and including a predator sword. If anyone would like that idea, let me know. Could be an optional prop add on to the baldric. The baldric at the moment is a prop, and may stay that way. Had thought about rigging it, but that might cause issues with the mines which I don't want to bed, but to stay where they are on the belt. Might be better to stay prop, and do some front back side side morphs. Any ideas would be welcome on the matter too. I have to remap some beads in the hair. I don't know what happened. Could have sworn I had all of them mapped, but turns out there's like six on either side that are not mapped. :P All well. I'll get to that. There will be a combistick, or rather a couple I think. I have some that I did a while back, but they have sharp edges, so I think I may revisit them, and even model a new one based on the avp style. I wish poser had better rigging because then I could do the cables that run from his plasma caster to his forearm, but hey . . . work with what I've got. That medpack on his back too, opens up. I'll show that at some point too, but probably not until I have some stuff to put in it. He will be getting a bone necklace as well. And yip, the hair on his shoulder seems to jump away from the surface a bit here. It's currently just a prop, but I will have a full regiment of body hair from shoulders to legs, I've done some of the chest and abdomen, just need longer ones, and some for each of the heads. The body ones will be rigged and work much better. Probably not mapped though. Would be pointless. Oh, and there are two versions of the breast piece. The original one features a support structure for a larger plasma caster over the left shoulder which I have but am revamping. So there will be the option for the dual casters as you see here, or a larger caster with mounted tri laser sight as well, kind of like the one the Greyback had in Predator 2.
