Description

Fe Talis var I Thankyou very much for your welcome comments and thoughts on my last one. I've just watched a hugelong piece of grass slowly disappear into the blue tit's nest. I thought they would never fit it all in. A couple of minutes later out it came- I can imagine Mrs blue tit trying to arrange it and saying " Take it back, there'll be no room for all of us". In between trying to please Mrs bt and fighting off the great tits who want to nest a few yards away, he is going to be exhausted before he can consumate the marriage. hehe I love it.

This is a fascinating image, Jenny. The steps and the walls and all the strata, and the cat brot in the middle overseeing everything. Wonderful. Dunno much about birds, except that we have a major problem with the minahs from India chasing most of ours away, except for the occasional morepork calling eerily in the night. (the morepork's a native owl. It gets its name from its call that sounds exactly like somebody calling mournfully for 'more pork')

He's already consummated the union, I'm sure. What he's fighting for now is the equivalent of trying to make a home, get them raised, and pay for college in a three week time frame. And as for the post....it's the most amazing perspective of oriental carpets having been made into a mosaic. Exquisite details.

Great image, facinating in many levels with your gradient work. I have put up 5 nest boxes in the last 2 years. I positioned as recommended by RSPB, still no luck yet. I bet you could watch them all day?

You really do look to have had a great dig in your garden here think of all the worms there will be for the little blue tits, at least I think they eat worms. Isn't it wonderful to watch the birds building their nests.
