Description

I did not sleep at all last night trying to do this pic. I still think it needs a lot of work. Anybody have any idea as to how better this? Comments and criticism appreciated.

Not a bad start. Try going back from the pic a little and maybe have the planet exploding from the inside (diff mat) or being hit by an asteroid...etc. Also, you could have space ships fleeing the planet or spactators viewing the explosion from a space station, nearby planet...etc. Otherwise it's a nice start

Nice Work on the Planet(oid?) I agree with charmorro, that you could do with something causing the explosion. The only thing I would suggest, is that the area of the explosion is too regular- it looks unrealistic. I don't know Bryce at all, so I can't really advise you on the best way around this. Perhaps a transparency map would help define the area of the explosion? Keep at it, it's a damn good idea, and you're off to a very good start!
