Description

(Bug Comic) (This is after Tickets ). Bryan's sister Petunia not only offered to drive him all 4 blocks home, but stopped to pick up his mail, and got him something to eat from the drive-through at the Lucky Dragon. Since his teeth were still sore, he opted for rice pudding. He opened his mail while Petunia was deciding what she wanted from the holo menu. He's disappointed that he didn't get the summer job he wanted with the health department, but it looks like he got something a lot cooler-- a two-year grant to go review an insect study from 2100 done in a tiny town called Newton, and then next summer go do real field work there, looking at current insect populations. Petunia thinks this sounds boring, but safe. Bryan reads on to discover that he has to take a safety course first at Fort Tennant about "Working in Areas Compromised by Chemical or Radiological Contamination" and that he is expected to bring Class 4 boots and protective gear. And sign a waiver. He looks at Petunia. "Don't tell Mom that part." He also looks at the seat behind Petunia. "Why is there tape on the seat?" Petunia shrugs. "Bullet hole. It was an accident... don't tell Mom!" Bryan asks what Mrs. Kim *thinks* Petunia does for Global Assurance, and Petunia hands him the rice pudding and says "File Clerk." ---------- EDIT: Since enough people have asked, "Petunia" is called that because as a small child Bryan had trouble saying Priscilla, and it came out "Petunia". Everyone though this was hilarious, since even as a small child Priscilla was not flower-like (the 6-year-old most likely to take shiriken to show and tell, and throw them accurately). So now she answers to Petunia, as long as she likes you;) ________________________ Petunia's morph and texture are mostly gypsyangel's Giselle for V4, at Daz. Too much of this is painted from scratch--I somehow deleted the PZ file before I was done, and couldn't re-render problem areas. The Thunderbolt car, which you can't even see, is spectacular--the door opens, the windows go up and down, and more.

File Clerk, ha, I knew I was gonna love Pet from the moment I saw her. And Bryan is turning out to be a super geek, in great contrast to his secretly kick ass sister. Great compact scene with rocking lighting. Love it.

Just love your title. And I had to laugh at the dialogue in your text. 'Don't tell mom about the bullet hole' - too funny! Great story here. Wonderful pic too. Cool characters and pov. Really nice posing and lighting. Wish I could see more of that Thunderbolt car. Sounds cool.

Priscilla, that's even better than Petunia, (which is awesome) it kinda has that Elllllvisssss thing to it. Drive through pudding! There's a cool concept! (That's even better than Park N' Cut: Hair Cutz While U W8!) Darn you, I just added that car to my never shrinking wishlist lol. AS usual, your painting skills are awesome!

Gotta say Jules is right Lynn as the quality of this scene you created is second to none. If that wasn't enough the story behind it is just as great. You really have a gift for bringing these to life.
