Description

Namibia 2010 Just the Namib desert and the Atlantic Ocean... the best combo ever and where your soul comes to rest! Taken about 10km north of Henties Bay on the Skeleton Coast. Thank you for your kind comments and favs on my "Spring Color" upload! Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

I once heard a similar description of a bar in Prague...well...not just any bar in Prague, but U Sudu, my third home. I literally lived upstairs from it for a while. Kind of a good thing after drinking with friends...all I had to do was stumble upstairs. Anyway, the bar was described in rather Borat-sounding English as "[the] place where your soul goes when it's overheated and needs to rest with its foots up on the table." I still get a giggle from that! This looks nothing like a cellar bar in Prague, but it does have that same feel. It's relaxing, quite comforting, despite any inherent harshness. It is desert and ocean after all, so there is some harshness involved, but it's subtle and wholly natural and WOW...it's gorgeous!
