Description

This is an experiment in macro and combining images. Two macro stacks were taken one with front lighting, the other lite with the light box. In Photoshop the images were overlayed and the opacity tweaked so that the blade and the crystals light up,but, the front details and focus remain sharp. Science is searching for Dark Matter in the universe and I find it ironic that the Indians of the world have been using Dark Matter for centuries. Obsidian can get an edge 500 time sharper than a sugrical steel. It has been shaped into tools, ornaments, and ceremonial pieces that defy description.I guess what I am saying Is, That in this world of the future it is sometime good to look in the past.

A gorgeous image, and a beautiful example of an obsidian knife. I love the use of the crystal base to display the blade. Nicely done!

A most interesting pic! I'm not too good at fiddling with images myself unless its to make them unrecognisable as photos, but i admire what you did here.
