Description

Namibia 2010 I am not referring to the cheezy film of the early 80's with Brooke Shields in my title. LOL... This blue lagoon is in Walvis Bay, Namibia. Last year there were very few flamingos but this year they were everywhere! I was thrilled to see them back. There are only a few on this side of the road but on the other side were very many! I just loved the contrast in colors between the water and dunes!!! Thank you for all your fun comments and favs on my "Pelican Attack" upload of yesterday! I really enjoyed to read through them! I also noticed that the water must not be very deep as the flamingos are not getting their feathers wet. It is a beautiful blue and the sand dunes dwarf the lack of dunes on Florida beaches. Dana
