Description

Around Christmas time I received an E-mail inviting me to stay at a new hotel in Las Vegas at a special rate. It had been a tough few months after losing my wife in July so I decided to take advantage of the offer even though I'm not much of a gambler. On check in the clerk informed me that I had received a free room upgrade, which was fine with me. But when I got to the room I was very disappointed. While the room itself was spectacular - a four room suite with full kitchen and luxurious furnishing - the view, to put it mildly sucked - raw concrete on two sides, a huge parking structure on another and the delivery area on the four. When I called the front desk they told me they could provide a room with a better view but it would be a downgrade from the current one. I decided to go for the view and these images show I made the right decision. By the way the "downgraded" room was still over 600 square ft with microwave, stovetop and two refrigerators as well as TWO HDTV's. LIfe's tough, eh?

Wow, you did a spectacular job of trading rooms. This is a fine collage. I recognize all the hotels. Aren't they just great at night?! I was just there in mid-February...my view was a parking lot and a low-down view of the Luxor Hotel which really wasn't bad. You are way up...what hotel are you in?
