Description

Here's the barn from the inside. Those are huge old redwood timbers you see lying about. I could hear them creaking as I got this foto. I did NOT go all the way inside, this place isn't going to be standing much longer. Guess it's time for another visit, just to see......

Very much enjoying your gallery -- wonderful eye! I always hate to see a barn building go. Value lost for sure.

Over the top lighting effects in this cool capture, Marilyn. You were wise not to enter the barn to any extent...probably a haven for bats and rats, vampire and otherwise.

Congrats on #1600 - WOW! Wonderful perspective from the inside and I’m guessing that that owl wasn’t there. Maybe not the same barn??? Dana

Gee, I missed this and your 1600th. You've got me so wrapped up in this barn and it's day to day plight that I am going to feel terrible when it falls. Neat photo.

What a shot! WOW! Oooh. This is quite a haunting image, a bit spooky if you could hear timbers cracking! Oh, but the result of risking at least a little bit of danger really paid off. This shot has atmosphere and more atmosphere, and a delicious quality of light and shadow. Really top notch work. (This is the sort of shot that would make Pavl go: yummy. Only he'd pronounce it "yah-me."
