Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... Still in keeping with digging through the old stuff in my runtime, I came across the Daz python. Now, I did use the new textures for him I got a couple weeks ago, but I think this still counts. Plus, I'm using other older items from days gone by. For those of you who haven't seen some of my recent posts, I recently upgraded to a new computer and had to transfer my runtimes over (yay, external drive!!!). I've been going through my 3D files and trying to use items that I collected and packed away, rarely if ever using them. Since I've been gathering stuff for a couple years now, it's been a little like Christmas. Plus, there's gobs of stuff that I didn't know how to make work when I first got it, or might look better under newer lights and settings. And the fun will continue through the weekend, because I finally ponied up the dough for Poser 8. Saved up my lunch money for the last couple weeks to do it, so now I've got new software and I'm skinnier! FedEx says it'll be here soon, so if you've got any tips or tricks for making P8 work right please please let me know. Thanks again, Tom Seaview123

Gorgeous Picture. That's the evidence: you don't need the newest stuff to make good pictures. Anyway have a lot of fun with poser 8 :)

I think the key to P8 may be a service release, on the other hand, I've noticed when the newer versions get fixed they are better than the previous versions. Maybe because you waited you'll get the "no bug" version! I love her imperious gesture here--that snake better behave or else!

I think she'll need more than finger pointing to deal with this one. Have fun with your new toys and Poser 8.

Great pose and pov! I must check through my runtimes, sure to find stacks I've never used. I've just got Poser 8 myself worth the money for the Indirect Lighting and runtime search facility, enjoy!

Tom, you have a ridiculous amount of content! I can't imagine what your runtime looks like!! hehe I only have, like...2GBs of (loaded)content and 1.5GBs is textures! I'm guilty of having too much content. And it's true that I have MANY things Ive never rendered with once. Not. once. So...when is the next Poser's Anonymous meeting? lol Oh, one thing: sometimes shove the bump map into the displacement channel on things like reptile scales cuz scales without a displacement map end up looking like plastic tubing:( Believe me...I know(embarrassment intended). Actually...checkout this link. I made some reptile materials and gave them away here. Good place to start! And easy on the system resources cuz they are totally procedural for Poser 6+!
