Description
I have been over busy as of late. Married for 6 months, Easter, family get together, new job location...anyway.
Here is something I was working on prior to some of my operating system problems (I have yet to get the time to fix it as of this moment).
Belive
Belief makes it clear, it also can comfort
It is a powerful thing.
You can't touch it, you can't taste it
But of it yoiu can sing.
I am an Elf the only one
The last of my kind.
As for the others they went away
And left me behind.
There were Halflings and even Dwarves
whom drank from flagons.
There were Orcs even some Goblins
and mighty Dragons.
For centuries we existed in war and in peace
Long before man.
But did we really? Was there something else?
A greater plan?
The others left because of humans
I saw their passing
Why did we exist just to be banished
Into the everlasting?
I was told to come, and told we must go.
I said to them 'Nay".
I will stay to continue on.
There is always a way.
I knew what I was doing, I had the truth
Here in my hand.
It was believed we came first,
but it was man.
Man came first, the fact of the matter
Is plain and clear.
Fabricated by belief we were able to exist
And all we hold dear.
That was our answer and our truth
of how we came to be.
But there had to be more, it wasn't enough,
not for me.
I had to unlock it the mystery of man,
How he came to be.
In a Holy Book, the answers were written,
So I had to see.
I soon discovered it was not man,
It was he.
He who created the world, man,
And even the Sea.
As my kind were leaving out of site,
Fairytales to become,
I found my answer, how to achieve more,
Become greater than my sum.
This book in my hand bore witness to all
And the son of man.
Here I exist with my belief in God,
Until the Promised Land.
Fin Amen
