Description
In the Souther United States we have a moss that hangs down from the trees we commonly call Spanish Moss. Well, this is not Spain, it is China. Chinese Moss?
I cannot find the common Western name of it and I fear I will only find a Clinical Latin name if I search...
Maybe someone out there in Cyber Space can do me the favor to inform me what they may know concerning this growth all over certain trees in Southern China.
Perhaps it grows in the countries of former Siam as well?

Beautiful moss tree..... I would not know the name but a botanist website might...

As a side note, since photographing this, I have noticed it is used as a prop in plays and skits for witches hair and old mens beards...

I found out for certain now, it is a mangrove.
