Description

This was taken with my little compact zoom an a dark misable day. I had to zoom in to get the close up of this. I had to up the ISO to 1600 to get a shutter speed I could hand hold. This has made it very grainy, but it was that or blurry. The Old Hall is a medievil manor house in the centre of my town. Even Henry VIII visited in it's hayday. I was waiting for my MOT test so took this on my little walk while waiting. I have loads of shots of the hall taken in far better light but this was the best on the misable day. So I posted it to justify my little photo adventure. The old car (10 years)passed! So it wasn't all bad.

Although you say this is grainy, to me it looks beautifully clear. A lovely capture.

Not grainy to me either Kevin. What a lovely piece of history. How I really like the pantiles. Is the roof the original? If so it's in remarkable condition. Can you go in to the tower? Re your car - congrats. Alex liked to hang on to his cars too. His last one was his beloved Merc. but before that we had two workhorses -Passat Estates - they were the best runners, but eventually bodywork was grounded by the salt air. I liked them better.
