There are several aspects to this work which my eyes smile at. The overall vision is a joy to view .. a high concept which is supported by a sweet combination of tender light, warm tones and a composition which feels open and unconfined. This is an enchanting mix of elements. The posture and positioning of the figures is very interesting. He is unaware, consciously, of his angel's presence .. his attention being focused downward upon earthly concerns. Her pose is true; she provides the protection of intuitive guidance and balance .. envisioning positive outcomes for his future. More than this .. angels may not provide .. for there's that pesky matter of "free will" to consider. An artistic detail I especially like is your choice of wings. These are not the fluffy gossamer wings so often portrayed in angelic artworks. Your wings are real. Her feathers display the wear and travails of ages past and trials met. It is subtle and would be a missed detail to most .. but that's a quality which is often found in true art .. a light touch. I am happy to have discovered this work today. & am taking a copy home with me. Warmest regards, Terry
