Description
A glam pic of Didi and Helen. Again I feature my favorite front and favorite back.
I was noticing that most of my renderings look the same so I wanted to try something different. This image uses ONE (!) image-based light only.
Since we are in a retro frame of mind, I wanted to replicate an older style: high key, flare, and corny blue-tinted monochrome.
Regarding the single light, I try to use as few as possible, usually two, to keep sane rendering times. I've seen folks mention 24 hours+ rendering times, and I don't have that kind of patience. This rendered in 11 minutes at 1600X1600. And my computer is over 5 years old...

Hey, the circus is in town, because there's the big top! Very nice image. It's good to see them in a more realistic style of render.

Very nice work! I agree with you regarding lighting. at the very most I have 4 spots and 1 distant (which is toned down)
