Description

Snapped at Gatwick Airport in 1990, at a time when you could wonder round with a camera without being accused of being a terrorist! This is a scan from a negative, which shows that you really should look after your negatives even if you think you will never use them again.

I have terrible memories of Gatwick and thus will never go to the UK through there again, but all of that put aside, this is a great pic. As a child I loved big jets and Delta Airlines was my favorite airline--the first I'd ever consciously flown. In fact, later in life, I flew from Dallas to Paris on Delta and had a wonderful childhood flashback before stepping onto CSA and flying the rest of the way to Prague...whenever I see planes taking off or landing, I'll think of that! Thanks for the memory. Great work.
