Outrage everywhere
People holding signs
This is the end of time
We don’t elect our leaders
By what they do
We elect them
By what they say they will do
Bribes and handouts
Backroom deals
Everybody is making millions
Selling out the people
Who sent them there
But when it gets time
They scream nine eleven
Are you a patriot or not
They pull our heart strings
And we dance like puppets
Putting the same people
Back in the same places
To do the same things again
The day after
When we have done it again
We are mad as hell
While they laugh at us
And pick our wallets
