Description

First real outing with 3DS Max (only had it a couple of days - not quite as scary as it looks) Poser -> 3DS Max -> MentalRay Lots and lots of work on the shaders (and still needs a lot more work too) Basically this is straight out of MentalRay - just converted to jpg

"Your face, it haunts my dreams .." Yeah, I know the feeling. ;-) A very fine portrait, Frank. Congratulations on diving successully into the 3DS waters! I look forward to what dreams may yet come through this gallery. Shader work should be fun .. as the foundation is very strong to build upon. Sometimes I'll take a work just like this and bring all the texture and depth out in post'. The base here is very solid. Have fun! Terry

this is so great... first sight, suppossed you did a painting over the render... the overall look is SO special... really wonderfull. Nice to see things out of Poser and working so good...
