I love the colors in this photo. I think the spreading rays of red are caused by an algal growth on the bark. As you reach the top of a sycamore, the trunk and branches become bone white. Previously; thumb_2040525.jpg

This is one of those photos when I wish I could reach out and touch it!! I so want to gently feel that sycamore tree bark...I think it would give a tactile experience as well as an optical one!
