Description

The world is dying. City after city falls to the twin scourges of disease and madness, made worse by human mistrust and fear, until the dead outnumber the living. Sarobah, sister to the King, is now queen of a dead land. Her kingdom, Kynthos, is stricken by this deadly pandemic that ravages young and old indiscriminately. In the last few days, it has taken her brother and ailing mother, along with a thousand other citizens. Now, at the eleventh hour, Kai, former ally and estranged lover of the Queen, returns to her side. Seven months at sea and a year in the savage wildlands of the north could not drive her from his thoughts. He believes such dire circumstances should allow them to put aside old grudges, and ally themselves once more for the good of those who still draw breath. Little does he realise that the plague ravaging Kynthos is Sarobah herself. ===================== Just a random render between commissions. Nice and dramatic narrative with a twist. I like that the picture is sunny and shiny, in contrary with a dire situation. The render is very believable and nicely composed. Thank you :)

The plague invading a country that has been seen in Europe, ex-allies who return to their early alliances with faith in their destiny, this is understandable, a queen weakened by the death of his subjects and his family, is already much more rare, and this island of tenderness so beautifully presented, it is the icing on the "cake"! Congratulations!
