Description
This column was built to commemorate the Great Fire of London that occured in 1666. The top of the column is a gilded urn of fire.
What I really like about this structure is its age but also the view from it. For only £3 you can climb its central staircase to a viewing platform at the top where you can survey London from height. Note: The staircase has 311 steps - only attempt it if you're feeling fit!
Original 2220x6498
Used Sony Cybershot P200, PSPX, and PTGui (7 Photo Stitch)
Many Thanks for viewing!
