Description

Another image that seemed like it would be simple when I started but took quite some time to get right. Trying to get the surfaces of the armor to look the way I wanted was the challenge this time. Finally got the displacement to where I liked it and then started messing with the reflection. I used the displacement map in the reflection channel. Once I got that done I used the AH Environmental lighting system along with a strong back light, a distance light coming from the right front set to specularity and a soft fill light from the left set to just 25%. The armor is the Fighting Fae armor by Scooby37 (Rendo). The skin texture is Lil' Bit by Rebelmommy (DAZ), and the morph is a combination of things, unfortunately one of which is a morph no longer available. The hair is Aoife by April YSH (DAZ). Our woodland guardian is accompanied by her ever faithful Faerie Dragon by Ryverthorn (DAZ) with a texture from the add-on set called Berry Dragons by -esha- (DAZ). The backdrop is from the Dreamy Landscapes 4 set by deadhead (Rendo).

I'm not usually into armor like that but it is a really, really nice and clear picture with strong pure colors. I like how subtle but yet powerful the lighting is. Thank you :)
