Description

Taken at Beijing Zoo just last week. The tiger was basking in the sun trying to relax...I was horrified to see the Chinese throwing bottles of water at the exhibits to get them to react...why can't people enjoy these wonderful animals with out needing further spectacle? D200 Nikon

A marvelous subject made even better with the lighting. Love the pose, and demeanor of the tiger. (I can't answer about the actions of the people. They really need to grow up and appreciate nature just as it was intended.) An excellent image.

Nice to see peacefulness in such a powerful creature. Wonder where the caretakers/security guards were when ppl were rude. They must have felt secure to act badly in such a public place, maybe a long-time problem not addressed. =( Take Care in your travels~ Deb
