Description

Captured 4/6/10, about one-third of a mile from my haunting habitat. A ZOOM will be to your extreme liking. The hibiscus bloom has been done thousands of times before, so I spent quite a bit of time out among the bushes early this AM in ardent search of still another aspect or view of it. This is just one of many that I took during the shoot. Auf wiedersehen, thankx for the peek, and for any and all complimentary comments and favs.

Indeed...this is so very different, from the usual presentation of a flower... and is absolutely unique and outstanding, almost mysterious ! It was worth the early rise... splendid POV, BB

From the thumb I thought you had something with a large arrow through it. This is one handsome hibiscus blom Harry! Unfortunately I am not much of a flower guy, but I do appreciate good pics of them:)

I think I must have been thinking along similar lines as Andrea. As I was thinking out my comment my verbs seemed a bit suggestive. Let's just say the flower seems to be very aggressively calling out to all hummingbirds. “Why doncha come up sometime and see me?" Love the aspect you captured! Wonderful colors and light too!
