You have been away for a while. Thanks for your visit.....had to stop by your gallery too. This one is very idyllic, but with a strange alien flavor. I just love the roots of the trees and the way they reach into that island ground. It makes me think of an animal's sturdy legs, ending in big grasping toes that have dug into the land. Great element in this landscape...makes it seem like a story lies just under the surface. Also like the many rings in the water...another story lying just under the surface.
