Description

Living in South Africa in these times can be heartbreaking and fearful. We just need to keep praying for spring and not winter. The coming of a new season. Tension So sticky it can only be spread not washed away The fear on the streets of what is to come today. Suspicion, of every culture and class eyes each other with narrowed glance Words tumble onto thinned lips a barely tempered lance Where are we heading this season? Is it winter or spring where death gives birth to life? Or where life gives way to death? Where human blood gets swept into gutters like overabundant rainwater or where clarity is found trying to understand through the pain of the past? Only time will tell if it's heaven or hell where we are heading.
