Description

If I could thumbed a ride with whomever was driving this truck, I would have gotten to my barn!! I see lots of tracks, but rarely the vehicle that goes with them. Oh well, I like my way better, though sometimes when I see these guys driving down the beach in either their trucks or 4-wheelers, I have to say it looks like LOTS of fun. Maybe I'll just stick my thumb out one of these days and see where I end up!! (might be a LONG walk back!!)

This is great. If you squint the barn kind of looks like an ancient pyramid in the distance! What stands out for me too are the lack of footprints.

Oh wow!! Here in SA you won't dare sticking your thumb out!- You could end up in bits and pieces... :( Wonderful image and to be on the safe side - rather do it your way! :)

I think I'd give them a miss myself ( she'd probably like them better than you)

Great shot - the tire tracks add a sense of depth and draw us in. And of course the mysterious barn looms in the distance.

Need a 3D model of your barn? It may help when you can't get there :-) I wish you luck and I'm envious of anybody's barn.

Excellent capture! You most have had a lot of snow for so much to still be there.

When I was in high school, we often drove to Galveston beach on the weekends with our dune buggies and flew over the dunes. It was exciting and so much fun! I highly recommend it. :-) Great shot and I love the journey those tracks take my eyes on.

This has an odd sort of "Martian Chronicles" feel to it, and I mean that as a compliment. I think it's the mystery of the tracks and the overt desolation--at least at that moment. The barn does have a rather pyramidal look to it as well, which adds to the ethereal sense of mystery. Needless to say I love this image and I do wonder at who drove this way? Are those tracks recent or have they been laid down in some parallel time-stream? One wonders! This is marvelous! Be careful who you thumb a ride with, you might wind up in Agara, in some cellar bar listening to gypsy music! Ah, but that wouldn't be a bad thing!
