Description

I had a few people request some additional renders of my new Kestrel Fighter model. So, here is the first of them. This view shows a close up view looking into the Kestrels cockpit. You can see it's pilot Princess Marelle in the forward seat. Console displays done in PSP X2. All models and rendering done in Carrara 7 Pro. Image reduced and thumbnails created in PSPX2.

This is some really sharp looking model work! I like your cockpit textures, the instruments look like their glowing. Nice job!

I based the panels on the "Glass Cockpit" systems being used in newer aircraft. The panels are almost like a plasma display which can be changed as needed, depending on what the pilot needs to do. Those round white lights on the headrests electronically read the brainwaves of the pilot and set them according to his or her mental commands.

This is a great shot of the cab. Great detail-- as a side note, how does Carrara 7 Pro compare with Carrara 5 Pro as far as modeling is concerned? Jan

Well compared to 5... Faster (Much Faster), a lot more stable and the Poser content compatibility is a real time saver. It has better multiprocessor support than 5, and generally does a better job.
