Description

The SMS Emden was a WWI veteran and used mostly for crew training, teaching raw recruits the art of firing the big-bore guns. The first warning that Danish waters weren't as safe as the Oberkommando thought was when a lookout reported three strange wing-less aircraft coming towards them. Before anyone onboard the Emden knew what was happening four rockets hit midships, seconds later a fifth rocket blew up the forward magazines, breaking the cruiser in two. The Emden's captain managed to get a distress call off, including the sighting of an aircraft carrier off the coast of Denmark.

I was about to say, "What the heck? Emden being attacked by strike helecopters?! That's really an anacronism, or a strange time warp!" Cool!
