Description

That is Semeru in the background (the volcano i took from a whole different angle posted yesterday). The smoking crater is Bromo and then on the left is a ridge which runs all the way (incorporating the mountain top i am on) around Bromo and the other little "mountains" that are in the middle to form what was once a mahoosive volcano which went boom-boom a long time ago, creating a desert of volcanic ash / sand which you can see in the foreground. I may have a photo to post tomorrow from the desert looking up to Bromo. Pano stitch from about 5/6 photos at 30mm. Enjoy! Rich

Looks like a pretty awesome pano mate, nice job.. as others mentioned tho a bit small to appreciate in this web view, stingy git :P This looks printworthy so I'd maybe look at trying to recover some of those brightest highlights in the steam/smoke at some point, but other than that great compo, some lovely warm light, and some good clouds to boot, nice! :)
