Yes, it is my first Orchid, as all the other shots of Orchids were from garden centres. But this is my own. :-)

Oh wow! This is such a Tara shot! I love it and I am sure she will! The colors are amazing and I really like the center part of the flower; it reminds me of an extravagant alien's mouth open and smiling (if aliens even smile.) It has such grace and I really like the details. WOW!

Oh Helle, this is just gorgeous ... thank you! I love the center of the flower ... it looks like a little bird lying on its back, waiting for somebody to come along and rub its tummy. :) What a fantastic macro ... the detail is so sharp, and the dof is really nice. Congratulations on your first orchid!
