Description
In my artbook about Michael Angelo’s sculptures, I saw the relief Pitti Madonna, created around 1504.
I was sculpting to those days, 40 years ago, and I’ve tried to copy this wonderful tablet.
I couldn’t reach any quality of the marvelous artwork of the old master, but I’ve still a example of my amateurish creation on the wall of our balcony. No marble, but concrete, cast from a plasticine negative mold.
And the bird? Bought it in a garden center.

Good work, my friend. I like the sculpting. Did you coat the concrete with anything, to protecxt it from the weather? Warm regards, from Scotland's first day of sun, 2010, John.
