Description
Namibia 2010
This is the 4th image in the Spitzkoppe series that I shot in Namibia in February 2010. A couple of youngsters did some rock climbing and I was lucky to just catch one of them as they were coming down. Once again this helps giving a sense of scale of how enormous these formations are. I have circled her on the image!

That is quite a climb. We watched rock climbers in Yosemite early last year, and I just don't know how they do it. ;c) Excellent comparison. That's a lot of rock.

this could easily be at Red Rock Canyon just to the West of Las Vegas. there is a very similar area there just like your capture
