I love the composition, with the reflected light traveling out to the buildings, seen like ghostly shadows across the water. Then, moving further up, is the sun shining through the beautifully silhouetted branches! Wonderful atmosphere and color! Gorgeous shot! Since I'll soon be New York bound, I have an extra reason to really enjoy all these New York shots you've been posting.

Oh beautiful! I used to take the train up to the George Washington Bridge, walk across it on the bicycle path, and hike on the trails in the Palisades State Park. There was an upper trail along the cliff top and a lower trail along the Hudson River. The two trails were connected in several places by stone stairways cut into the rock face itself. Because of the proximity of the highway, and service stations with refreshments, I used to call it Wilderness Lite. Fun times.

I was once on a boat on the Hudson River during a squall and was never so sick in my life as we raced for dock. this is a much nicer way to remember the Hudson.
