Description

If you were wondering where I have been the past two weeks, I was back in ND helping take care of my ill older brother, Etienne Ellsworth or Double E. He had been suffering from liver cancer the past six months and wound up in the hospital. I was privileged to be allowed to help with his final days. We were able to bring him home and took care of him there with the help of hospice. He didn't last long but he did have several quality moments with those of us fortunate enough to be with him. He had purchased a new pickup just a couple months ago and had been looking forward to using it to see more of the USA this summer. I was able to drive him out into the country in it to see our family farm one last time before he left us. I will always cherish my memories of these past two weeks. He passed away Easter Saturday night at 10:10 PM, with his wife, my older brother and myself at his side. My four other brothers and I assisted with his funeral and burial services this past Friday. He was such an exceptional and unique character! He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

I'm so sorry for your loss! I know what you're talking about, last autumn I've been taking care of my mother when she was diagnosed by cancer and died just 1,5 month later... I never forget this intense time we spent together. You've made a marvelous homage to your brother! Hugs...
