Description
This is the Crimson Bomber, flagship of the bomber fleet flown by the air force of the mysterious madman... The Hammer.
Yes... it's 1938 and the forces of evil are gathering. One such force is the Hammer Air Wing.
Where they come from is a mystery, but their bombers cause havoc and mayhem wherever they go.
Only one man can stop them... Sky Captain!
This model is going to feature in a series of images based around the above concept, with Sky Captain facing off against the evil hordes.
I built the bomber in Truespace and imported it into Bryce for the addition of props. I have yet to create a texture for it... something that terrifies me at the moment.
It may take a while.
Anyway, here is the basic model. Size wise it's about double the size of a B52!

What a hunk. Very creative modeling. The egine nacelles remind me of russki Istrebitel-16. Perhaps an inspiration as for the shape of the air intakes ?

Be a nice continuation of the 'Sky Captain' stories! I loved that movie. It was quite a hoot. Hopefully in your story, Polly might actually keep her lens cap off? LOL Can't wait to see what you might come up with.
