Description

Polystyrene skull from halloween skellington. Shot in infrared, Posed on road outside to get a decent level shooting spot. Post work in PS. -------------------------------------------------- Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Great poem! I did a study on Dylan Thomas for school! Dylan's poem speaks of fighting for life and not lying down and giving in easily. Even at death's door, when things seem like they can get no worse and all you want to do is sleep, turn around, wake up and find that spark, that little something, that reason to keep pushing forward and fighting. Stay alive! Even when you have lived a long life there still is that light to fight for. Someone very dear to me recently passed away and boy did she put up a hell of a fight. There was a reason for her to stay as long as she did, when everyone went away she left quietly in the night. God gave her strength and granted her a wish for I believe she did not want any of her loved ones to see her go. That would have been to painful for her. She gave everyone time to be with her and share her love just one more time and God gave everyone that chance. She said she wanted to fight, win or lose she wanted to fight even though that was a battle she would never win, at least she tried! I love this poem now more than ever! Thanks
