Description
Captured 4/12/10, early in the morning, within walking distance of my double-decker dwelling.
These are all zoom shots, so no macros here. A full size view is highly recommended.
Quite a contrast to the usual white and yellow variety of hibiscus I find around my area.
Waterdrops are from some moderate rain overnight. Yes, although it doesn't happen very often, it actually decided to rain around here. Actually, if it hadn't rained I would have stayed in bed, but realizing this was a rare opportunity to capture beautiful rain drops on flora, that's all I needed to get me up and out early to take photos. And I'm glad I did.
I also visited my usual yellow hibiscus bushes for rain drop shots of those. So it turned out to be quite a prolific venture that AM.
Tally ho, thankx for stopping by, and for any and all complimentary comment and favs.

Superb captures of the drops and beautiful hibiscus Harry! I love this flower tho I prefer the pink or yellow myself. Do you have bottle brush trees there? They had them in Chula Vista and I thought they were great trees! Bordered of course by Birds of Paradise!
